Marigo Farr
Life Coach
Is there something in your life that you feel stuck around? Maybe a place where you are held back by indecision or fear? Getting coached can help you move forward on any topic: life purpose, gender, sexuality, romance, community, career and more. My job is to create a container to help you access the wisdom that is already there so you can figure out your next steps.
I became a coach because I am driven by curiosity about people and the world, and because I care about the wellbeing of my community, near and far. I wanted to apply skills I’ve learned as a journalist—deep listening, compassion for people and their stories—in a way that directly helps people.
I am internationally certified and received my training through a social-justice informed program called Blooming Willow Coaching. I practice Blooming Willow’s healing-centered model, in which every coaching session has four components: pause, ground, align and act. Pausing allows you to fully arrive at a session. Grounding is how you figure out what is most important for you to work on. Aligning is sorting through limiting beliefs and determining possibilities for how to move forward. And the last step is committing to a plan for action.
I bring a steady, kind presence to coaching and an awareness that our life experiences and outlooks are informed by systems of privilege and oppression. My goal is to help you feel clear, brave and empowered to overcome whatever is holding you back.
I am white, queer and gender fluid. In my day-to-day, I write articles, compose songs, practice Jewish ritual and jump into bodies of water.

Testimonials
I appreciate how curious and empathetic Marigo is as a coach, which helps me see myself more clearly and, in turn, makes me feel deeply supported in how I uniquely walk through the world. During our coaching sessions, Marigo gently reminded me of the values I hold within me while allowing me to explore my identity in new ways. Even when the work or topic feels challenging, Marigo has a unique ability to balance lightness, fun, and a sense of irreverence with a profound ability to see others, creating an authentic space that allows me to go deep and find growth opportunities. Her presence makes it clear how much she cares about the people she works with, which extends to how I feel about my own journey through our collaboration.

I’m currently in a transition phase, coming out of my first year postpartum and going back to work…Coaching helped me to see that it won’t be like this forever and that there is much to appreciate about where I am. Marigo listened really well and asked questions that made me really think. I appreciated her use of metaphors and images to get me to see things differently.
